- Junior – Junior member must be at least 16 years of age. They will attend training events and meetings while completing the required entry level WV Firefighter 1 training program to learn about fire apparatus, equipment and some basic fire ground skills. Junior members may not respond to emergency incidents until they are 18 years old. They can assist with community events, attend JR FF Approved Training courses and participate in station activities during this time to further their knowledge.
WV State Fire Marshall Junior F Rules - Active FF – An Active Firefighter is an individual at least 18 years and older who attends training events and meetings while completing the required entry level WV Firefighter 1 training program to learn about fire apparatus, their equipment and some basic fire ground skills. Active members may not respond to emergency incidents on fire apparatus until completing the required entry level WV Firefighter 1 training program. They can assist with community events and station activities during this time to further their knowledge.

West Virginia Approved Fire Service Training Courses and Resources - Associate – An Administrative member is an individual at least 18 years and older who wishes to assist the department in a support capacity with administrative functions and fund raising activities.
- Active EMS Provider - An Active EMS Provider is an individual at least 18 years and older who attends training events and meetings. We currently accept only those who possess an active National Registry EMS / WV State EMS Certification. We DO NOT provide this entry level training to non-firefighting members.
